Rhea Knives are hand forged in the manner of
old world craftsmanship. I use several steels in the blade
construction. I make hunting knives primarily, but also enjoy making
Bowie knives.
I'll break the ice. I took this
boar in late Winter of 2006 here in Arkansas. I was hunting with
my brother, Jason, my nephew, Josh, and my son, Greg with my
brother's two dogs. Although we carried firearms, I wanted the
chance to take this boar with my knife. The dogs had caught the
225 lb hog in a creek bottom and I was able to approach close
enough to get the job done. My knife has an 11 inch blade of
random damascus, stainless fittings, and African Blackwood for
the handle wood.
