Rhea Knives are hand forged in the manner of
old world craftsmanship. I use several steels in the blade
construction. I make hunting knives primarily, but also enjoy making
Bowie knives.
When I saw the picture of this
subhilt Lin made for a cutting competition at Batson's Hammer-in
I just had to have it. The knife just disappears in your hand
-balanced, light and comfortable. It was my first Rhea knife and
I was hooked. The larger bowie has more length and weight
but through handle design and blade geometry it does not feel
too large. These are great knives from an accomplished smith and
good friend.
