Rhea Knives are hand forged in the manner of
old world craftsmanship. I use several steels in the blade
construction. I make hunting knives primarily, but also enjoy making
Bowie knives.
The Boone's Lick Bowie is named
after a book by Larry McMurtry. The small town of Boone's
Lick sprang from the Missouri countryside and most likely was
named after a mineral lick. This knife is ready to go back
in time and play a part in history. Its steel is
differentially heat treated and the cutting edge has great edge
geometry for a broad range of tough uses. Yet the filed
fittings and Premium Desert Ironwood will do you proud when you
dress your best. A Kenny Rowe sheath custom fit for this
knife will complete the package.
