I currently have a 1 year waiting list for
special orders. In some cases, I may be able to shorten that
substantially, but some materials may require doing a thorough search.
Call, email or write to me with your
specifications and I may be able to shorten the wait time.
NOTE: NEW PRICING POLICY!
I will be taking orders for knives as usual with this change:
when a customer orders a knife, he will be reserving a "slot" for an
estimated time of completion. A few weeks before the time rolls
around, I will contact the customer and at that time determine if all is
well or if changes to the order (within reason) are to be made.
By reserving a slot, I will not be making knives in 2010 for 2007
prices. If the time comes to make the knife and it is completed in
a given year, the customer will pay that year's price for that knife.
Since my wait list is growing, I have to consider the reality of
financial feasibility and make the adjustment. When you reserve a
slot, there will be an estimated price for the knife and when the time
comes for the knife to be made, I will contact you and discuss the
matter then. I can assure you that the price of the knife for that
year will be made very clear at the time I contact you and before I make
the knife.
Bear in mind that this policy is to allow me to continue to offer my
knives for sale and allow for material price increases and it also gives
you as the customer options to change and upgrade your order. All
prices of knives ordered previous to this post will be honored.
